Water Heroes | Heroes del Agua
This is an 8 session basic course on watercolor. Kids and youth will also talk about the importance of water and about the water crisis, and how in different cultures, we find water heroes that represent the power of water reminding us of its importance.
Chaac, rain god.
Origin: Maya, Central America
Shape: Anthropomorphic (looks like a human)
Powers: With his lightning axe, Chaac strikes the clouds producing thunder and rain and helping agriculture.

Éste es un curso básico de 8 sesiones sobre acuarela. Hablaremos sobre el agua y la crisis ambiental en relación a este liquido vital y cómo en diversas culturas, podemos encontrar héroes fantásticos que representan el poder del agua y que nos recuerdan su importancia.
