Through this 9 session course on basic human figure drawing and watercolor painting, children, youth and adults will also learn and dialogue about outstanding African American women that have made history. We will practice drawing full body and facial portraits from imagination, observation and memory; and we will learn and practice color theory, color mixing and particular watercolor painting techniques.

A través de este curso de 9 sesiones sobre dibujo de figura humana y pintura en acuarela, niños, jóvenes y adultos de todas las edades, aprenderemos y dialogaremos sobre importantes mujeres Afro Americanas que han hecho historia. Igualmente practicaremos dibujo de retrato facial y de cuerpo completo a partir de la imaginación, la observación y la memoria; y finalmente aprenderemos y practicaremos teoría del color, mezcla de colores y diferentes técnicas de pintura en acuarela.
