During this 8 session workshop on facial portrait drawing and painting; we will be sharing about ourselves. Whether shy or outspoken, we will use our favorite memories and pictures, reflecting on that unique combination of traits that make us who we are. We will learn and practice how to create facial portraits of ourselves and others using fun drawing tools and watercolors to make theses portraits speak for themselves! While during this I Am (facial portrait) workshop we focus on learning, creating and dialoguing about facial expressions and features; during the I Am (full body portrait) workshop we engage with the observation of the whole body drawing and talking about it and its expressive movement.

Los retratos siempre estarán de moda! Durante este taller de 8 sesiones sobre dibujo y pintura de retratos faciales; estaremos también compartiendo sobre nosotros mismos. Seamos tímidos o extrovertidos, usaremos nuestros recuerdos y fotos favoritos pensando en esa combinación única que nos hace ser quienes somos. Aprenderemos y practicaremos cómo crear retratos y autorretratos faciales usando usando divertidos materiales de dibujo y colores de acuarela que harán que estos retratos hablen por sí mismos! Mientras que durante este taller Yo Soy (retrato facial) nos enfocamos en aprender, crear y dialogar en torno a las expresiones y rasgos faciales; durante el taller Yo Soy (retrato de cuerpo entero) nos involucramos más con la observación del cuerpo completo aprendiéndo y hablándo sobre él y su movimiento expresivo.
